NovaPay legacy monolithic architecture suffered from severe performance bottlenecks, long 4+ second initial render times, and complex checkout friction that led to high user abandonment during account onboarding.
The Engineering Solution
We architected a modern headless Next.js application decoupled from back-end transactional microservices. Using server-side rendering (SSR), edge caching, and optimized GraphQL queries, page load speeds dropped to under 600ms worldwide.
